The day before Easter we took Than to Peckham farm on the URI campus for his first Easter Egg Hunt and he had a great time. It is part of URI's agricultural and veterinary school so it had lots of animals. They had the baby goats and sheep out where the kids could see them and pet them, they were even given the opportunity to feed one.
The egg hunt itself didn't go as well. Mostly because I don't think Than had the slightest clue what he was supposed to be doing, and the older kids were quicker and ruthless. He did manage to get one egg and was so excited by that he stopped looking for anymore. He was happy and we were glad we took him.
