Progress

So as a very quick update on the housing situation... we are making progress, things seem to be falling into place. We got notice yesterday that our buyers have found a bank that is willing to finance our townhouse. Ryan also talked to our mortgage broker and the banks lawyer. He will be able to represent us on both deals and help streamline the process so that we will be able to close on both properties on the same day. We have the correct update on the paperwork so that we are still covered in case the worst happens and the deal on our current place falls through, but that seems very unlikely at the point. Ryan is still nervous about the inspection, which is on Saturday but given our place isn't that old and it was thoroughly inspected when he bought it I seriously doubt anything major will be found.

After we pass that hurdle we need to kick into high gear arranging for the move and start packing like crazy. We also need to figure out what things we absolutely need to get immediately for the new place as we will have quite a few empty rooms. I'm not in a rush but as we will have guests for the holidays we will atleast need to get a bed for that room and possibly a full size sofa for the living room. Oh what delightful problems to have!
